SUMMARY

BACKGROUND : The rights for infants breastfed in accordance with a resolution of the World Health Assembly (WHA) in 2001, the baby should be exclusively breastfed from birth until the age of 6 months. Breast milk is the best food for babies, which is natural. The advantages of breastfeeding are already known, but the tendency of mothers to exclusively breastfeed still not very large. This can be seen by the growing number of mothers who give extra food to their babies early. The purpose of research to determine the relationship of the level of knowledge of mothers about exclusive breastfeeding and other factors with the pattern of breast-feeding.
